The Sristi Foundation is an Indian NGO founded by G. Karthikeyan, a psychologist who is working with disabled people for over 15 years. “Sristi” is a Sanskrit word and means “creation“. It is our object and aim to create a world where intellectually disabled and marginalised people can live in dignity, where they are treated with respect.
It is our object to reach as many people as possible and invite them to become part of our Sristi family. The Sristi Foundation is the mother organisation to various projects, including a special school for intellectual disabled children, a vocational training centre and an Eco-friendly farm where disabled and “normal” individuals work together and provide their own living. Through this our community is self-sustaining.
